We don’t know about you, but to us it seems that Christmas is right HERE, now!! Kids will be out of school, decorations are all up, cards are in the mail, and last-minute shoppers are out and about!
Speaking of kids being out of school, are you looking for activities to do with them? You’re in luck, because the Triangle area offers so much family fun leading up to the big day! Best part is, many of these events are free!
Highlights include The North Carolina Museum of Art’s annual Holiday Family Fun Friday (Dec. 19th) and “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical” at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts (shows daily). Here’s a pretty comprehensive list—including events from all over Wake County—compiled by the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau: click here.
For the sports-inclined, the Triangle is home to lots of ACC Basketball! Nosebleed section tickets at the Dean Dome too much for you? Take the kids to a Women’s Basketball game! Fast action, great ball, lots of energy (bands+mascots=fun for little ones!) and at NC State’s charming, old-school Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, 17 and under are FREE for all women’s games!
Also, check out the Carolina Hurricanes! There are three home games between now and new years… again, lots of fast action NHL Hockey and FUN!
Of course there’s always real estate to consider! We’d be happy to assist you in any real estate needs you might have during holiday down time—except maybe that winter to-do list—just call us!
